Last night, I delivered the worst insult to my taste buds. It was called Maggi Dal Atta Noodles. And for the simple reason that I was hungry and had nothing else to eat, I persisted till the last noodle. I felt I was recycling my own excrement.
Very recently, I felt this way about Pepsi Cafechino - an inexcusably ridiculous concoction of coffee and piss.. I mean.. fizz. Inexcusable because Pepsi expects you to pay good money to drink a potion that has the potential to make the toughest criminals talk if forced down their throat.
I wonder: Nestle and Pepsi are such big companies with (I'm sure) highly developed research labs. Let alone flavours that may not become immensely popular, but saambaar noodles and cafechino are unfit for human consumption!
Have also felt this way when I watched some really bad movies. I used to wonder: Don't these guys watch their own movies after they've made them?

Unfit for not only human but animal consumption also! My dog loves to slurp pepsi ! :p
well, i hate even the ordinary pepsi. it tastes like "kashaayam"..yuk!!!! for tat matter, coke is also equally bad.
@Ramya: Oh, I see - now that's news :-)
@maha: Aey, nee mor-le perungaayatha saapttu yummy-nnu solrava... kashayam yuck solriya? :-P :-P
I wonder that often too.. about bad movies... I also wonder about Mumtaz... Does she ever sit down and watch and see her fat jiggling? Does she not get embarrassed? Why she keeps doing it again? Samethign for Kiran.. enna karmam..
But anyways.. sambar noodles? that is just nasty!!! Sambar is disgusting on its own... ithukku noodles veraiya? *puke*
@Merino i.c: Hey Merino, looks like you've suffered many Mumtaz movies.. haha.. appo Shakeela-vukku enna solveenga :-D
Dal Atta, sounds so yucky....Dal chawal yes heard n Dal roti yes heard in separate form but this mix is killing by the very looks...Poor your tongue!
Talking of movies reminds me of a dud called Mere Jeevan Saathi that hit the screens this year. I am sure I wud have gulped down Pepsi or Maggi Atta Noodles with the highest enthusiasm, if I cud have been spared the splitting migraine attack that had me hitting the bed for hours after. Grrr... :)
Thx for the visit, Vin. U got a great looking blog here. :) Shall come back for more.
@scribblez to wakeup: im glad i could warn you
@velu: hahahaha... avvLo mosama padam ?? LoL
Vinesh..thanks for stopping by my blog and come again. too bad those noodles tasted bad. Sometimes u wonder about the tasters that are employed in these labs.maybe just a bunch of hungry people. you have a nice blog.
@Merino i.c: Understand your feelings about Juggly Mumtaz and dal atta noodles, but "Sambar is disgusting on its own" is unacceptable....tats like a personal insult to my entire value system :P....
Kishore

Vinesh: Shakeela vaara neram naan kannai pothikirathu =P
Kishore: sorry I insulted your value system... I've never been crazy about sambar.. :P
@Starry nights: I'm sure they must've been castaways!
@Kishore: dai daag, unakkaedhu value system??? :-D haha
@raghav: had any bad experiences, you?
@merino ic: haha, u have suffered quite a bit, then!
coke came out with a similar stuff, only, even the guys who made it, didn't like it and the idea was dropped
@kausikram krishnasayee: they had better sense then...:-)
I was never a fan of cola drinks...So didn't even try Cafechino...
But I may try Atta Noodles...Atta is more healthier than Maida
andha kandraaviya kudikarathuku goli soda or color better :-)
@ganesh ranganathan: Atta Noodles Vegetable is really tasty. It is the new Sambar flavour which is "sagikkala" variety..
@syam: sariya sonneenga syam :-)
after sambar, will they have rajma taste next? or koottu, poriyal flavuor??
ravi
LOL!! Haven't tried both. :-)
I dont like Noodles. For the producers, what ever movie they took, will be very good on there views.
Eeeuu!! Doesn't sound right!!
I am never a fan of these fizzy drinks...so it doesnt matter to me. Aana, noodles advt TV patho appo I waas quite impressed cos I thot it was a novel idea & it sounded more healthier too. But it is disappointing to note that it tastes so bad.
