INKBLOT TEST WITH ORANGE JUICE

Prior to this post, I have blogged only twice this year - my scarcest since I started Orange Juice for the Soul in 2005. To understand why this might be, I revisited my first post where I had listed my reasons to start blogging.

Reason 1: The convenience of wondering aloud
Reason 2: The satisfaction of sharing thoughts with those who chose to read
Reason 3: The fun of seeing my writing published

All three reasons are still alive. And I totally cherish the love I receive from fellow bloggers and the friends I have made through this medium. So what prevents me from blogging?

A good deal of thinking suggests that, for quite some time now, I have found it cumbersome restructuring my thoughts from abstract to concrete. Because I am comfortable understanding myself in the abstract, I find it a task to translate for my readers to the concrete. And there is a certain way of writing posts that I have become used to, that I feel reluctant to change - kind of trapped in my own style, if I can say that.

I need to see whether this is a phase or whether I am inclined to explore other forms of expression. As a teenager, I expressed myself through the poetry I wrote. And then it was through the music I composed. Blogging took over from where music was abruptly halted.

Maybe I will write a book. Maybe make a short film with my digital camera. Or maybe continue blogging as random and abstract as I feel.

I know what you are going through. At least, I would like to think I do, as my blog is non existent as well.
Whatever mode of expressing you do take on next, keep us informed :)

happy to see your new posts after a long time. I like you to be blogging forever.

I might have told this to you before.
Your id card song brought me to land here in your blog where I learned what is blogging and started my own blog(not posting frequently :P )

I love all your posts the way you narrate. You can choose express by music or any other medium but don't stop blogging.

with love

totally agree on the abstract reason. but isnt it the reason why blogs exist in the first place, pouring out emotions as and when it comes. :)
