GOOGLE HOSPITAL

I was shocked, last month, to find out I had reached premature menopause.
1. Since I am not female; 2. I am pretty sure I am not cycling.

Read this article today about a research conducted to determine how accurately one can diagnose symptoms of illnesses using Google. While the team reported that "Google could be a 'useful aid' in diagnosing conditions with unique symptoms...", they also stated that "...a successful search needed a 'human expert' user, and therefore, patients would have less success trying to diagnose themselves on the internet".

I can vouch for the second statement. Turns out I had typhoid! :-)

When we are unaware in medicine… doesn’t know how accurate we are in symptoms, but the good can help doctors. Nice link.

Vara Vara Google oda use roumba jasti agitey pogudhu!!

Nobody cares to remember things!HOtel address? google! Phone No? google...Some times it makes us lazy!!

I just wonder how many of us would feel if GOOGLE services are shelved for 1 week like blogger, orkut, gmail, youtube, news, picasa (not that critical)and most importantly google search engine would put most of those @ work in software break their head!!

Too much of data also doesnt help at times! It confuses says Malcom Galdwel who wrote BLINK book.

The thing I find most amusing is that article has it's own "ask a doctor" search engine!!! It's like saying don't use Google, use our own... we're real doctors. But how do you ever know!?
