UNUSUAL STRESS RELIEVERS

Before biting....
In what was an intensely stressful week at work, I bit and tore a stressbuster smiley ball to shreds. Yes, bit. It had the audacity to cheekily smile at me when I was having tough days. Now that it has outlived its purpose, I need some new ideas to adorn my workstation. I am not interested in goldfish bowls or potted plants.

Here's my shortlist:

- A fishtank with baby piranhas and a sign that reads "Fish are Biting" or "Fish that likes Fingers"
- My own set of American tribal belly dancers
- X-Ray vision glasses
- Stressbust games like these - God's Playing Field
- A photo of me at my suckiest previous job that will remind me I'm really in heaven now

Thanks for stopping by my blog and do come again. You just need a bigger smiley ball one which talks and that will really stress you out because everytime you squeeze it the ball will say.I dont feel it.

One other good thing you can try is to count some frequently words used by people in meetings.
For exampe you may hear something like "sounds good", "intermittent", "process methodology", and each time you hear the word being said more than 3 times you can stand up clap and say "bullshit". :) you can even have members to play this game with you and finally decide who is the winner :) you have a good blog the vaala meenu remix song with shaving blade was really good!

Something that's no an "unusual" stress buster is a little sand garden with an itty bitty rake and you can fiddle with the sand.. it's very theraputic.. I have a tiny one, I can't even rake the dumb thing cuz it has too many temples and stones and cranes in it =P.

Ripping tht reminds me of wht I used to do when I was angry...I had read somewhere tht I should hit the ants on the floor so I would hit them n they would struggle n then start running away again...I stopped tht within a few days as I didnt want to end up killing those things with my bare hands! I am a murderer in all non-senses!!! :)

Vinay: any oriental looking place =P

Or you can make your own by getting the top of a shoe box, fill it with sand and use a mullu karandi as the rake... and use bi puliyangottais as the polished stone kekekeke..
