MALE FEMALE E-MAIL

Happened to glance at a co-worker's to-do list (by accident), and "Check girlfriend's email" caught my eye immediately!
Hmm: Maybe his girl is not very computer savvy, or her computer broke down. Maybe he means, "check if girlfriend has sent me email".
Or: He spies on her!

A few years ago, a friend asked me if it was possible to hack Yahoo/Hotmail accounts. Somehow, I couldn't buy, "My girlfriend lost her password"! :-)

I know couples who share the same e-mail address (usually half his name, half her name, which I find very sweet!), and also couples who fiercely maintain exclusive and well-protected-from-each-other e-mail accounts.

Which brings me to my question: Should couples share their e-mail passwords?

No right or wrong answer to this, is there?
Depending on the person, I'd share an email or two, but I wouldn't share my password with anyone - not because of all the eye-popping things they'd read, but just because its MY email and NOONE else's !!
What are your thoughts on reading other peoples' SMSs? :-D

"Check girlfriend's email"

Why can't this mean that he wants to check the email send by his gf?? He might have so much info to read in her mail and reply back, that he has created a reminder 4 that!!! :-)

We all require space and time. Even though 2.6GB offered by Gmail is a lot o f space.. we need not share it to express our love. And trust is something tht underlines any relationship. So, if u dont have trust, dun have a relationship.

And I side with karthik.. usually people communicate with gf/bf thru private email ids.. and in the busy worktime, he might forget to check it, which might create a tinge of sadness in his other half ....

Idhu over a i think panradhala varathu.. avan kitta ketrukkalaam illa.. :P

Hmm, I don't think so - I think its an invasion of privacy! Just because two people are a couple, should it mean that *each and every* aspect of their lives needs to be shared? Maybe a common account for common friends...

But of course, it depends on the people in question! For me, its NO!

For gf NOPE. To someone commited (if pressed) errrrr okay (my own back up?
ofcourse).

Sharing all your stuff is fun (?) and so, is everyday being a friday night
or a sunday morning but (sadly) its not and thats the exact reason which
makes them special. So, I would say, do share stuff with yor love but should
that necessarily amount to "total exposure". periyava summava sonnna
"Ignorance is bliss" .....

The underlying point is, at the end of the day I need my half of bed ...

P.S: "Check girlfriend's email" --- fingers crossed that is his own GF
and yes hotmail /yahoo can be hacked not dat I have done it but a simple google will educate u.

-- hurry.

I'll give my password to my boyfriend to be used in special circumstances only. If I can't check email from where I am and I need some critical information from my email box, I'll ask him to check my email for me to give me that information over the phone, for example. But I trust that he wouldn't snoop around otherwise because he trusts me enough not to have to go to such extremes.

After long I am here in the blog-world and decided to walk into everybody's world and here I am in yours. ;-)
As always yer blog is short & precise. Wondering how long it will take to learn this art?
Actually I feel that ne personal/private things needs to private irrespective of yer relationship with others. And email passwords come under this category. So I say a big NO NO to sharing password

Kind of unsure with this - maybe once the relationship has matured and the understanding is better, probably because I think it is one way of showing trust ....

Vinesh,

Have been a silent observer of ur blog for quite a while, u have a great blog in here and i always do njoy them...the question u have raised is kinda interesting...i myself hav thought a lot abt this...
I feel that though couples can be
very close, with literally no secrets btwn each other, individuals should also have their own private space whenever he or she wants it.

In my case we both hav a common mail id, sharing the pwd (like how u said ;)and also individual ids ..... he never reads mails from my pvt id, neither do I :)

lovers can share email ids and password, but only if both are willing to. its a very nasty and unfair thing if somebody is forced to share email id and password...

Vinesh, there could be another possibility.. :-) maybe that guy doesnt check mails from her girl friend regularly and keeps getting scolded on that :-) so now its on the to-do list:-)

On a more serious note, I think sharing passwds between couples depends on how much they trust each other. If there is 100% trust, there is no reason to hide at all.

Yah if they both feel, they wanna share it to each other they could...
Its really bad if you force your gf or bf to give you the password...its their interest and they got to decide it !!!

:-))

it would be up to the couple. if one person is so willing to do it, and if the other person don't. you have to respect that. besides, that other person can open another email account too! so, i don't see how it will work well...

ppl can find many ways to cheat.

I wud say although there is no issues with my partner reading my mails I still wudnt prefer to share my passwords.... its like giving up the last portion of ur breathing space and if thingsdont work out between the 2 of us u willreally regret the decision to share the password with him

Although havinga common email id for common friends and family memebers to write to u is kinda sweet but u needto have a personal id as well where u can direct personal emails
