HEIGHT OF DISTASTE

Have always enjoyed "height of" jokes (hope everyone's heard of them), but received one in an e-mail today that was in very bad taste.

Q. What is the height of laziness?
A. Adopting a child.

I know someone who has adopted a child (after braving a lot of legal procedures), and I think it is a very beautiful thing to do.

Maybe this "joke" wasn't meant to be taken so seriously, but still... hmmm...

lol...buddy, personally i love that jokeonly because im not seeing it as anything other than a joke! Most jokes never criticise the humanitarian side of things but simply choose to ignore it.

@Vikram: I guess u're right. There must be some jokes that I like too that must seem tasteless to others. Like one-legged guy jokes...
